The Endometrium Matters

The Endometrium Matters
A new dimension of endometrial health to improve the reproductive prognosis of your patients

Overview

Since 2014, IGENOMIX has been conducting a deep line of research to understand the endometrium factor in recurrent implantation failure patients.
Their recent publications in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AJOG) demonstrate a new dimension of endometrial health that can improve your patient's reproductive prognosis.
Dysbiosis of the uterine cavity has been associated to poor reproductive outcomes in IVF patients, suggesting that pathogenic deviations of the Lactobacillus endometrial content could play a role in infertility (Moreno et al., 2016).

ERA

ERA (Endometrial Receptivity Analysis) evaluates the status of the woman's endometrial receptivity to help prevent implantation failure, by finding the optimal time for embryo transfer.

The ERA test resulted in a 73% pregnancy rate in patients with implantation failure.

EMMA

EMMA (Endometrial Microbiome Metagenomic Analysis) is a screening test to evaluate the endometrium at the microbiological level, improving clinical management of infertile patients.
By analyzing the endometrial microbiome, EMMA determines whether the uterine microbial environment is optimal for embryo implantation,  in patients with recurrent implantation failure.
EMMA provides information about the ten most abundant bacteria in the endometrium, recommending embryo transfer or appropriate treatment, depending on results.
Moreno et al. Am J Obstet Gynecol, 2016

ALICE

ALICE (Analysis of Infectious Chronic Endometritis) is a diagnostic test to detect the bacteria causing chronic endometritis, a condition that originates infertility.
Independent studies show that this condition affects up to 30% of infertile patients, and in cases of repeated implantation failure or recurrent pregnancy loss, this can rise to 66%*.
ALICE identifies the most common bacteria causing the disease and helps clinicians to recommend appropriate antibiotic and probiotic treatments.
